Throughout the fall/winter season, we have seen different prints make it big on the runways as well as urban street corners. From florals, to animal motifs, to catch phrases among others — they have all made an impactful print on the current state of fashion.
With Christmas just a week away, I have been quite pleased to see an influx of fun holiday inspired prints, such as reindeer, Christmas tree and snowflake printed tops and sweaters.
Myleene Klass provided the perfect example on how this can be worn in a stylishly festive way. A few nights ago while performing onstage, Myleene wore a bright red crew neck sweater which featured a barrage of snowflakes and reindeer. To allow the sweater to properly stand out, she decided to combine it with a pair of simple black trousers.

What a playful way to make a fashion statement and help celebrate the holiday season at the same time. While many may feel these types of holiday sweaters are not the most aesthetically pleasing, I’m sure we can all make an effort to practice a little tolerance and patience considering the time of year we’re in. My take on the trend? I’m a huge fan and supporter!
When trying to incorporate a piece like this into your own wardrobe, we should follow Myleene’s lead and pair it with softer speaking pieces. Try wearing a top like this with a puffer jacket, dark hued leggings and a pair of sneaker wedges to finish.
